Parents/Guardians, The Internet is a place where you child should be able to go and play educational games and even connect with family. However, we also need to teach our children how to be safe online. This glogster is designed to give you information on how to keep your child safe online. 1)Time- It is important to set time limits so that your child is not spending all day on the computer. Also decide what days and time your child can be on. 2)Rules- Parents should set the rules and expectations. This could be what sites they can visit, having the parental controls on and what games they are allowed to play 3)Education- Go and check out the sites before hand to see if the content is appropriate but also teach them about how they should not give out their personal information to strangers online. 4)Choices- sit down with your child and go over what sites are safe and help them learn how to make good choices when they are online.
